For the development and roll out of our international SiD workshop program in Brazil, we seek an experienced developer, trainer/ facilitator that shares our values, drive and ambition. Developing the program, the business, the marketing, and the sales in Brazil, is part of this challenging position, which requires being in the Netherlands as a base, and frequent travel and presence in Brazil.
Except has developed the Symbiosis in Development (SiD) sustainability framework. We have developed a 1 day workshop based on this framework, and are looking to roll this out as a B2B offering for organizations wanting to explore their relation to sustainability. We are looking to introduce this to growth markets around the world, including India, Egypt and Brazil.
For the Brazilian context, we’re looking for an experienced responsible person (the developer) that is entrepreneurial, to become the developer, marketeer, and trainer-trainer for this market. Good interpersonal relationships, connections, ability to adapt content and generate funding and partners for the program are needed to meet this challenge. Also, excellent knowledge of the Brazilian market, fluency in Brazilian portugese, and willingness to divide time living and working in the Netherlands and Brazil are a requirement Also, an existing network with relevant businesses in Brazil is a requirement.
Except’s training program is new, and needs to be developed to be successful in impact and financial performance. The developer becomes responsible for the full development performance of the program for the Brazilian market, as well as general program support and management. Applicants need to have a relevant portfolio, organizational management skills, an existing network in Brazil and the skills to develop this further, and the ability to make and provide the training in the local language. The applicant is experienced with keeping to strict deadlines and performance targets, to report periodically on management level. The applicant is personally enthusiastic and passionate about systemic sustainability, and is able to prove so with past efforts and work.
The developer is able to persuade others of the importance and value of sustainability. Building on this, the business needs to be developed into other segments, products, and to scale up the roll-out with hiring and managing relevant agents and personnel.
