ING is a global financial institution with a strong European base, offering banking services.
With more than 52,000 employees they offer retail and wholesale banking services to customers in over 40 countries. ING is currently among leaders in the Dow Jones Sustainability Index ‘Banks industry’ group.
ING and Except started to collaborate in the Leaders for Nature Forum. We join forces to find solutions for pressing natural capital questions. The challenge ING put forward is to Create a Red list for financial institutions consisting of projects of organizations not to invest in, because they are not meeting biodiversity standards and defined geographical areas not to interfere with.
