Gaël van Heijst

Some paper and pencils, a laptop and loads of post-it’s is all it takes to kickstart Gaël’s creative process. He is an interactive designer who likes to make the complex visually appealing and understandable for the user. He performs design research to get familiar with the user-group and product. This results in interactive prototypes of digital concepts.

At the moment he is graduating as a Communication & Multimedia Design (CMD) student at the Hogeschool Rotterdam. At Except he designs a digital solution for a local community to enhance their need of sharing their knowledge.

Gaël likes to make pretty things that are meaningful, well-thought-out, connect people and above all, are human-centered. Offline he secretly is a part-time writer of short stories and likes to roll around on his skateboard performing street acrobatics.
